animal Inquiry

this week we have done a animal Inquiry and I did a lion

Pepeha

On Tuesday we did our Pepeha and we wrote it in this blank paper with Maori words and underlines, we deleted the underline and add in our pepeha and drew our awa, mountain and waka.

Swimming

We have been learning how to do swimming this term and we are going to practise more and more in Term 4 until we know how to do it.

These are my Basic Facts results for the end of Term One.

I am working on Stage 4 I got 29 out of 60

I need to be on Stage 5 by the end of the year.

STEAM

This week we have been doing makerspace on the living world. On Tuesday I made a spider web. I used 20 nails and some wool. I added a knot to start and I wrapped it around on the finish.

GIF

Today I made a GIF for my living world. I enjoyed it. My GIF is a worm heading to the compost bin.

Bug hotel

Yesterday we made a bug hotel in our school garden. What we used was bamboo, wood  and some  hay. Everyone made one piece for the bug hotel in teams. I made a slide of living things moving into the bug hotel.
