Young Leaders' Trip 2021

 On 22 June 2021, I got to go on a two day trip to Auckland to take part in the Grip Leadership Conference. Mrs Edwards, Mrs B and Shiah’s mum, Nadia were our drivers. We had a great time and the conference was really interesting.

Matariki Activities Term 2 2021

In Week 9, Term 2 , we had a day of activities based on Matariki. We got sorted into groups and did rotations. Most of us got to do 2 different activities but some only did one activity if it took a long time. I chose to take part in: Making Paper plate stars with Mrs Craig and baking Short bread with Mrs B.  Kia ora last week was our dear libariain Mrs C's decided to ritire. So all of Team Moana decided to make a farewell card for her. Here is my card.

Kia ora in Week  7 we had to use personifcation to write about our old playground. Here is mine:

Play, Make, Create

  In Term 2 Week Four we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation.  This week Mrs Craig Read the book paper, Scissors, Rock. It was about friendship and learning about your strengths and weaknesses.  I chose to create a movie poster of twig.

Writing Week 5 Term 2 2021 simile Poem

 In Week 5, we learned how to write a Simile poem. This kind of poem needs a simile in almost every line. We could base it on any topic we wanted.   I chose to base mine on 'Friendship' Here is my work hope you enjoy.
